Privacy Policy

Processing of personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)

Data controller. StockControlNet, located at 2 Chemin de Lafont, 33450 Saint-Loubès, France, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website and our correspondence channels. You can reach our data-protection desk at [email protected].

Data we collect. When you use our contact form or write to us, we collect the information you provide: full name, business email address, phone number, company name, the module of interest, budget range, and the content of your operational brief. We additionally process technical data strictly required to serve the site (IP address, browser type, and consent preferences stored locally).

Purposes and legal bases. Enquiry data is processed to prepare a proposal and, where applicable, to perform pre-contractual steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Contractual and invoicing data is processed to deliver the engagement and meet legal bookkeeping obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Technical and consent data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and, where required, your consent (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(f)).

Retention. Project briefs and correspondence are retained for 24 months after the last exchange. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the periods required by French commercial and tax law (typically 10 years). Consent records are kept until you withdraw them.

Recipients and transfers. Data is accessible only to StockControlNet personnel and vetted processors bound by contract (hosting provider within the European Union, email delivery, and Stripe for payment processing). We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertising brokers. No transfer outside the EU/EEA takes place without an adequate safeguard.

Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and object to processing at any time by writing to [email protected]. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting prior operations. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés, cnil.fr).

Section 02

Terms of Service

Governing the engagement between StockControlNet and its clients

Scope. These terms govern every consulting, implementation, migration, integration, and maintenance service delivered by StockControlNet (2 Chemin de Lafont, 33450 Saint-Loubès, France). Specific scope, deliverables, and timelines for an engagement are defined in a written proposal or statement of work signed by both parties; the signed document prevails over these general terms where they conflict.

Proposals and acceptance. Quotations are valid for 30 days from issue. Work begins once the proposal is accepted and the initial invoice is settled. Any change of scope requested during delivery is assessed and quoted separately before implementation.

Fees and payment. Prices are fixed-scope and quoted in USD unless stated otherwise. Invoices are payable within 15 days of issue by bank transfer or through our secure payment channel available via the Pay link. Late payments accrue interest at the legal French rate plus a fixed indemnity of €40 for recovery costs. Milestone invoices are due before the corresponding phase begins.

Client responsibilities. The client provides timely access to required systems, data, and decision-makers. Delays in feedback or data provision may shift the delivery schedule by an equivalent period; StockControlNet cannot be held liable for consequences arising from such delays.

Intellectual property. Upon full settlement of all invoiced amounts, StockControlNet assigns to the client all worldwide rights in the client-specific deliverables — custom modules, configuration, and authored documentation. Pre-existing frameworks, libraries, and internal tooling remain the property of StockControlNet and are licensed to the client for use within the delivered solution.

Confidentiality. Both parties keep confidential all business, technical, and commercial information disclosed during the engagement and use it solely for the purposes of the project.

Warranty and liability. Deliverables are warranted against material defects for 30 days after acceptance; defects reported within that window are corrected free of charge. Beyond this warranty, StockControlNet's aggregate liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the affected engagement. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or data loss caused by the client's own infrastructure.

Termination. Either party may terminate an engagement with 15 days' written notice. In such case, the client pays for all work completed up to the termination date. Provisions on confidentiality, liability, and payment survive termination.

Governing law. These terms are governed by French law. Disputes are first attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days; failing that, they fall to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France.

Section 03

Cookie Policy

How this website stores and reads small data on your device

What cookies are. Cookies and local-storage entries are small text records placed on your device when you visit stockcontrolnet.com. They allow the site to remember your choices between visits and to operate securely.

Essential storage. We use one essential local-storage record, scn_cookie_consent, which stores the fact that you accepted this notice so it does not reappear on every page. This record is strictly necessary for the site to function as you configured it and is therefore exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive.

Third-party content. Embedded maps (Google Maps) may set their own cookies when the map is displayed. These providers act as independent controllers; their policies apply to their own cookies. No advertising or cross-site profiling cookies are set by StockControlNet.

Analytics. Where aggregated, anonymised traffic measurement is enabled, it runs only after your consent and is used solely to improve page structure and performance.

Managing your preferences. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge — "Clear browsing data" / "Site settings"). Blocking essential storage will only cause the consent banner to reappear; the site remains fully usable. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].

Section 04

Refund Policy

Milestone billing, cancellation, and reimbursement terms

Milestone-based billing. StockControlNet delivers fixed-scope engagements against milestone invoices. Each invoice funds a defined phase (audit, blueprint, build, launch), and work on that phase begins only after the corresponding payment is received.

Deposits. The initial deposit reserves your slot in our delivery schedule and covers the audit and blueprint phases. Once those phases have started, the deposit is non-refundable, as the work is performed specifically for your organisation.

Cancellation before completion. You may cancel an engagement at any time in writing. In that case, we refund any amounts paid for phases that have not yet begun, minus the value of work already performed and any third-party licences procured for your project. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 calendar days of the agreed termination date.

Defect correction. If a delivered module does not conform to the signed statement of work, report it within the 30-day warranty window at [email protected]. We correct conforming defects at no cost; if we cannot remedy a material defect within a reasonable period, you may terminate the affected phase and receive a proportional refund of that phase's fee.

Retainers. The Operations Retainer & SLA is billed monthly in advance and may be cancelled before the next billing date; the current month remains payable and is non-refundable once coverage has started.

How to request a refund. Send your request to [email protected] with your invoice reference and a short description of the reason. Payment-channel fees charged by the payment provider are borne by the client where applicable. This policy complies with French consumer law; mandatory statutory rights of business clients are unaffected.
